Is Garman officially a producer of this show? If he's not he should be. He steers the ship in front of the cameras and behind the scenes his input is thoughtful and pretty much correct.

David Brent appeared on this version so unless he exists in a world where THE OFFICE never existed I think it's safe to say the UK OFFICE exists in this universe as well. Doesn't mean anyone ever watched it outside of the UK, but it's safe to say it exists.

But the show implied that she's just not very good. Good enough to paint a mural in a warehouse, but not good enough to make a living at it. I don't think Pam has any illusions at this point about being a professional artist.

People seem to think that listening to THE SIMPSONS DVD commentaries make them experts in television production.

I have to admit, I'm looking forward to seeing Brandon implement a Scorched Earth strategy. Hopefully to be quickly followed by his being voted off. The only way he's a "Favorite" is if you're in a betting pool to guess which SURVIVOR will be arrested for domestic assault.

"Black folks invented the Kwanza" got a chuckle out of me and was enough to keep this episode from an F. I think it would take a true disaster to get an  and the producers/writers/performers are just too slick to let that happen.

My "weird nitpick" refers only to his "I'll see you at the movies." I enjoy the ads in general.

Really? Is Bob Ducca really that enormously popular? It's not like he's Pee Wee Herman

This is probably a really weird nit pick, but I liked it better when he just said it matter of factly as opposed to making it a joke and hitting it hard.

Maybe that was it. Too much going on and he seemed to be pretty quiet during "Would You Rather?"

I do agree that Neil Campbell's character was pretty much a non-entity.He can definitely do better.

With Matt I don't think the show was as over the top as it would become in season 2 and 3. The contestants were over the top caricatures, but I don't think it was THAT insane they could be real people. He also had Brian as "the Buddy" who made him feel like someone else was in the same boat as him as a normal guy in a

Even consider checking out the SHOWCASE book with b & w reprints of his 70's stories. Pretty consistent in tone with the new series.

That Rotworld story just dragged on and on until I just stopped caring.

I recall an interview where Mr. Rogers said that the one "parody" that really upset him was when some white supremacist hotline was using a Mr. Rogers soundalike to preach hate to children. I think his general attitude was that jokes aimed at adults were one thing, but this was obviously a whole other story and if

It's true. It would literally be like seeing Santa Claus standing in front of you. He's not supposed to be real.

If you're looking for a role model in this life you could do a lot worse than Mr. Rogers.

When I was in my teens I would watch Mr. Rogers when I was depressed and it always made me feel a little better. Because as corny as it may be, you're never too old or too cynical to be told that you made the world special just by being you.

My guess is that he catches on that the convict deal was a set up in the same way most reality shows will stage bits for maximum drama, but I don't know that he'll catch on that the whole thing is fake yet.

Wow, the DVD sets are expensive.I picked up Vol. 1-4 a few years back for maybe $15 apiece. I got them at an actual store, but you can check newburycomics.com and maybe they still sell them.
