Wow… this is super weird. Even though I saw Gone Girl literally only a few days ago, I'm still sort of blinded by fury at how this episode revealed the twist. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I'd waited another week to watch it like I could easily have done.
Black Sails is hands down the best opening sequence I've seen in uncountable years. The visuals are amazing (and creepy) enough on their own, but that jam by my man Bear McCreary, sheeeeeit! It's so good, it actually made me continue watching a show I probably wouldn't have paid much attention to otherwise.
