I think it was actually a Genesis song, but I can't find anywhere else to shoehorn in this comment. I like to interpret Invisible Touch's lyrics literally and think of it as a song about an alluring female serial killer.

I am glad to hear that other people hated S2 too. Without AVClub coverage, I'm never sure what the consensus of my peers are and I get nervous when I feel like I'm the only one.

I am in my early 30s, so I agree. My life is pretty much over.

Ryan Gosling had a band called Dead Man's Bones and all their songs are about ghosts and zombies and such. They only did one album that I know of and though it's unpolished, it is shockingly good.

Maybe it's because I have a headache, but did anyone else find this article achingly hard to read?

Anytime a character said "hella", it stuck out as forced, abrasive, and as if it was written by someone old and out of touch.

Same here. I honestly find it kind of offensive because it seems to be based on him being fat and still having the nerve to have confidence. I otherwise don't find him at all like Alexander or Samuel - he seems like a very sweet kid.

I think that would be pretty creepy too because of the physical age difference. Really, immortal paranormals should only date other immortal paranormals. Is that racist?

I was Team Jacob too. It creeps me the fuck out when centuries old vampires fall in love with ordinary teenage girls. I give Buffy a bit of a pass because she was essentially paranormal herself, but even that was pretty creepy to me.

I've been waiting for the obit to appear. I never go on Twitter, but I happened to catch Kumail Nanjiani saying RIP and I had hoped it was a prank.

I always thought in a show full of first world problems and spoiled brattiness (not that I'm judging, I enjoy that aspect of the show), she was the one who had real, legitimate issues - addiction, likely mental illness, etc. So I, more often than not, give her a pass.

She was right in that it wasn't fair for Hannah to expect her friends and boyfriend to stop living while she was in Iowa.

Weird, I really hated his stand up but I have found him likeable on Tosh.0 (disclaimer: I haven't seen it in years though).

Eh, I've gone from loving Neil Gaiman to pretty much hating him. I loved the Sandman, but I find his novels unreadable and his marriage to Amanda Palmer just grosses me out.

wait…when did that happen in HIMYM?

I am trying not to play video games much because of school and self improvement bullshit, but I am aching to play something so I think I may start up Earthbound or give Planescape Torment another go.

I remember when I was reading the book and wondered the same thing and flipped to the back cover to see the author photo and saw what may as well have been the main character staring back.

Honestly, I was pretty surprised because I thought this happened ages ago.

I don't know if I agree. I think most things have a fuzzy threshold that once they're over, you just plain don't like the song anymore. Back in a more innocent time, I liked Tubthumping as much as everyone else, but I heard it so frequently in such a short space of time, that the song itself now makes me ill, even

I'm not sure what I'm thinking of the second series yet.
