I really don't get why Monica is third place in the Gervase-Tyson alliance. How is Gervase any less of a lapdog? If I were on the jury, it would go Tyson > Monica >>> Gervase, mostly because of his boneheaded social blunder at the last Tribal and because Monica is such a badass at the challenges.

I can think of a lot of roly poly little butterballs that would benefit from being forced to close the DS and take a walk.

A for sure.

My list is identical except I would movie "National Anthem" down towards the end (I can't decide if I like it more or less than Fifteen Million Merits). I think it being my introduction to the show hurt it a lot - I had heard all about a super dark, British sci-fi show so I essentially went in expecting something like

I'm ok with this. I'm not going to watch it and I think his sketches on youtube are awful, but I've seem some vlog-style videos of his and he seems like a nice, likeable kid so whatever if someone wants to hand him a fat check. I'm going to keep calm and carry on.

I'm pretty sure Colton was really sick on his season though, wasn't he?  It just wasn't appendicitis.

Was I the only one who walked away from the documentary really liking the woman?  Did I miss the point?

Both the sound effects and Krulwich drive me nuts. I find the topics interesting so I keep downloading the shows, but it always winds up being more of a hate-listen for me.

I'm with you.  That scene on One World where he's sitting around looking bored but still full of contempt, watching his tribe mates ineffectually chase a chicken or something, and voice overs "These people suck at Survivor" in his best shrill bitch voice is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on the show..

I am with you. I love Love LOVE The Sandman but I can't stand his prose stuff. I tried to read American Gods ages ago and couldn't do it. I'm trying it again on audiobook and even that's a chore.

Sorry, but what? Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but it seemed like the second half of the book had all the action.

Am I the only one who didn't know the third book was being split into 2 seasons? I have been gearing up for 3 really action packed episode.

@SomethingQuirky:disqus Big Brother seems pretty reviled over here in the US too, but I like it.  The game itself is very interesting, but unfortunately they tend to cast complete turds (imagine a dozen or so Eddies playing against one another) and the producer interference is often blatant and outrageous. I'm not

Chase didn't win Nicaragua.

I agree. I never saw Coach's first season, so I never really understood why he's a villain or why people think he's so awful. Yes, he's like the quintessential self-serious Ren Faire nerd, but he seems genuinely nice. I wish he had won SP.

That's probably fair. For a weak competitor and a social outcast, I guess that's all she could have done. I actually don't think it's a horrendous strategy, but it's typically playing for second place at best.

Oh, I definitely think Cochran grew as a person and became more confident between his two seasons. But I don't think he was a horrible player in his first season and I'm not sure that current Cochran would have fared much better than past Cochran under S Pacific conditions, if that makes sense. I think he was screwed

I'd personally be happy if they just used their 1 hour show more efficiently, instead of showing 30 minutes of commercials and 5 minutes of Boston Rob.

It'd be awesome if they brought back both Andrea and Parvati.

No, Andrea was "blind-sided" during her first season, I guess.
