That's weird that you can't buy mp3 of that one, because you get mp3s with the LP.

As usual, CDs only, so nothing I only have on LP, like Torche, Peter Tosh, and Trouble Funk:

They Might Be Giants are the last band left that my wife and I buy both buy their albums. I've slowly purged stuff we both have. I'm finally getting rid of the first four CAKE CDs because I bought that box set. We split some big bands. I have the I.R.S.-era R.E.M. albums, she has the WB-era. She has the first three

IIRC, that's a more proper way of filing those, but I've never wanted to go through and move them all.

Some people like my wife, for example. She hates them.

I've gone off bands after seeing a bad live show before, but it's rare for me to hate something so much that I can't listen to an artist's older stuff. I know it's happened, but I can't think of a good example right now. Bill Cosby maybe, but that's different.

On their last tour, I made sure to go to two shows because I saw some setlists and noticed they were playing Jenny Ondioline about every other show. So, if I went two nights in a row, I was sure to see them play it.

That may depend. Early records under A for sure because it was originally the name of the band as well as the pseudonym of the singer. After 1974, it was a solo venture by the singer.

CDs only as usual, so no Alice Cooper or anything else I only have on vinyl.

Keeping Cat Stevens, purging Stereolab. This is just so wrong. I have all of the Stereolab CDs and Cat Stevens albums aren't even allowed in my house.

I should see that. Battle for Brooklyn, about the people who got kicked out so the Barclays Center could be built, is pretty good. We spent the last two weeks of my property law class talking about government taking of property and then watched that on the last day.

And Jesus.

I do the same thing every five years or so. I was planning on doing it this year even before Modell started this. In my case, my tastes have changed over time and I don't listen to a lot of stuff that I used to. Or I bought things that I didn't end up liking very much. Or I own eight albums from a band and listen to

Skyhooks! I haven't heard that name in forever. Many years ago one of my friends had a compilation album with one of their songs on it (Horror Movie, I think). I have never actually seen one of their albums, though.

It drives me nuts. I changed them all on just under 35,000 tracks. Of course, that represents 9 years of importing CDs and downloading tracks. It's not like I did them all in one weekend. But if you've built up that many, I can see why you wouldn't want to change it up now.

Thank you! S is enormous. There's at least 20 more S artists I only have on LP.

I own all of the Screaming Females albums. But I have them all on vinyl. I only list CDs on this, but I always throw in a few artists that I only have on vinyl that I think would look like a big omission if I didn't list them.

Only one Scorn disc? If I had to cut down, I'd keep Colossus and Evanescence along with Gyral. I just can't fathom getting rid of Evanescence.

Once again, CD only, so no Screaming Females, Sly and the Family Stone, The Sonics, The Specials, or St. Vincent:
