I saw them in the middle of nowhere in northern PA, which was actually a pretty interesting place to see them. The place was packed; great crowd. A couple songs in, Joey asked, "So this is Milton?" Someone in the back of the room yelled out, "We're sorry." Joey cracked a smile and then they played about 27 more songs.

The Third Reich & Roll and Duck Stab are both worthwhile.

I don't know about "often," but I reach for Halfway to Sanity more than any album Marky Ramone plays on, with the possible exception of Road to Ruin.

I saw the Ramones in the going-through-the-motions years. It was nice to see them, but I really wish I could have seen them when Dee Dee was still in the band. Anyway, first three (Ramones, Leave Home, Rocket to Russia) are essential. I also really like the three Richie Ramone albums (Too Tough to Die, Animal Boy,

I still don't have Manifesto. Is it worth picking up?

Peter Frampton - I'm In You

That's basically a tribute act, right? Yeah, it will be there eventually.

I'm not really a fan. It's more my wife's thing, but I'll say he's better than at least 95% of what plays at the Westcott. Five or six shows a night, two miles from my house, and I hit maybe one show a year there.

His first solo album was better than anything his former band have done since the split. I haven't heard any of the later ones. He lives like two towns over from me in Central NY, but he never plays gigs here.

+20 on NoMeansNo.

METZ are great. I went to a Fucked Up show a couple of years ago because I thought it was a band I should see at some point and METZ were one of the openers. I had no idea who they were at the time, but they were pretty great and I started buying their records after the show.

Keith Jones is ok for the most part. But they need to get rid of Milbury and Roenick. When he was a player, I thought JR would be good on television, but I didn't realize he was quite as much of an idiot as he is. Milbury occasionally gets wrongfully criticized, but it's because he's used up all the goodwill available

Strader and Engblom were NBC's best team until Strader went to go work for the Stars. I actually like pretty much all of NBC's in-game announcers except for the big 3. But most of their panelists are awful. I feel bad for Liam McHugh having to be up there with those idiots.

Those buffoons in Colorado give Steigerwald and Errey a run for their money. But they do make the NBC guys look good. I still miss Gary Thorne calling hockey, even if he never got anyone's name right.

I think *everyone* can agree that Pierre is the absolute fucking worst. We don't need to know every player's parents' names or what they ate for breakfast, Pierre, you creeper.

Penthouse is great. I think if you don't like it, you won't like the band in general. I quite like the last two records, Romantica and Rendezvous, a lot as well.

Filler? Gilmour's playing on Mudmen is gorgeous.

One of the Floyd fanzines in the 80s and 90s used to do a regular reader poll and Wish You Were Here usually won for favorite album.

But at least it's angry. Side three of the Wall (start of CD 2) will make you want to slit your wrists.

Once again CD only, so no Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
