Anything before 1994 and the newest one.

That sounds like a horrible way to live. When I have to give up everything else, I'll still be schlepping the wall of CD and the wall of vinyl when I move. Sound quality and network issues aside, there are too many holes in Spotify for my liking. It's fine for listening at work and checking out new stuff. But I want

Praxis! Nice. Also, glad I'm not the only one here who has that Oysterhead record.

Could be worse. I bought the follow-up.

It's gotten better in recent years for the most part. Especially with remasters of older albums. But yeah, that box set has the original mixes, and the newish "expanded and remastered" Tres Hombres and Fandango use them too, apparently.

Once again, CD only (so no Mojo Nixon, New York Dolls, OM or Ozzy Osbourne; my wife owns all the New Pornographers albums, so not them either)

I'm with you. I've never understood it. I tried again recently when I picked up one of their CDs for 50 cents at a library sale. I still don't get it.

All this talk just makes me want to go pull some sours out of the fridge and start drinking. It's noon somewhere, right?

Ouch. There's a small brewery here that has a rotating stock of 8 to 10 different styles, most of which are mediocre overhopped homebrew.

Colin Baker was great. The scripts and direction were terrible. If the material had been better and they'd let him do the role more in the way he wanted (darker) it could have been one of the best eras of the original series. Unfortunately, the BBC were well into bungling the way they handled the show by that time.

I believe the track in particular that Spinal Tap is sending up in that scene is an instrumental piece from the Zappa In New York album called "I Promise Not to Come in Your Mouth."

I have to dress fairly well for work, so I spend a decent amount of time clothes shopping and trying to find stuff that's not crazy expensive but not crappy. But a lot of times you really get what you pay for. The one place I won't cut corners is shoes. Cheap dress shoes make my feet hurt. For everything else, outlet

I get it. It's a little weird. Most of my friends only like the first couple of records. One night I was hanging out with a fairly large group of punk/hc guys drinking beers and me and one other guy were telling everyone we thought My War was the best Black Flag album because it was such an unexpected and

Yeah. Some of us even like that weird metal stuff they played in the 80s. But I don't like any band enough to buy a $265 t-shirt. A $265 box set OTOH is a different thing altogether.

Could be. Expensive dress shirts and suits definitely have better sewing.

How do I keep missing these posts?

Six albums, plus a lot of EPs and a couple of singles collections.

I know, right? There's room for Buffalo Soldier but no Roots, Rock, Reggae or Crazy Baldhead? And half of Exodus, but the only song from Natty Dread is a remix of No Woman, No Cry.

Especially when these guys realize they aren't immortal and start paying attention to their health. I think there's something about realizing that maybe they won't physically be able to play music at some point that makes them realize they had better enjoy it now.

I saw her in 2011 and again this summer and the only noticeable difference is that her hair is shorter now. I kind of can't believe how hard they've been touring this year given her diagnosis. Not sure if that's good news or bad.
