Cage's so delusional it's quite sad. I really dislike his arrogance and dismissive attitude towards older cinema. For a guy that's trying to make a cinematic video game, you'd think he'd take the fucking time to study film.

I'd argue serials have become the anthology shows. Think Twin Peaks to present. You'll see a static cast bounce through all kinds of genres within the same world: comedy, horror, drama, and so on.
