It's hard because I would never tolerate this level of incoherent, sloppily commercialized, pretentious storytelling from any other medium - yet because Kojima makes video games I love LOVE everything he has touched since MGS.

An institution. I have to disagree the Minneapolis music scene peaked with Prince and Hüsker Dü. I've seen so many live local acts since that I would have to say it's more alive than it has ever been. Unless you meant nobody as famous as Price has since come out of the Twin Cities. I suppose that makes sense, but

I've worked in finance for a decade and have a train obsessed 4 year old. Ashcroft Thomas (pre-CGI) indeed sends a bizarre message. That despite having the intelligence and agency of man, trains are worked as sub-human expendable resources whose usefulness to Sir Topham Hatt is one's sole reason for being. Sure he

Yellow Ledbetter is a classic rock song. Crazy Mary, Do the Evolution, Bee Girl (part two), Lukin, and Binaural in its entirety are all solid. Many people base their Pearl Jam opinions squarely on Ten and Vedder's political rants. This is an error, son.

I notice a lot of Pearl Jam hate on this site. Is this all because of early-nineties (growling stereotype) Vedder, recluse late nineties early naughts Vedder, Nader Vedder, or folk-ey sing-ey Vedder?

I guess I didn't really care for Ten. However, their last two albums, Lost Dogs, and especially Binaural won me over big time. They have been my favorite band since '98 - so I can't really complain about this recent rash of Pearl Jam coverage.

I loved Binaural. No Code was more odd to me.

PBS? Pearl Jam? Can I look forward to Eddie at the next pledge drive I'm not going to watch?

Jeep Wagoneer, though? Fuck. Yes.

Not True. It features my favorite final episode for any series.

In most eps, I can handle a little techie BS to get heroes
outta harm’s way. That being said, I really hate Jean-Luc MacGyver:

"Cromwell didn't sleep with them so much as RUIN them".

"Cromwell didn't sleep with them so much as RUIN them".

Agreed. He's lucky Q has such a sense of humor and doesn't take his 'God' role more seriously.

You have to remember he was the captain. To taste that sweet success with your own ready room featuring a window view and Livingston the fish - it would be hell to live your life knowing what it was like. Everyone always assumes they could do upper-management's job without actually being in that position. To ACTUALLY

Blasphemy! You're lucky I don't cast you out, or smite you, or something.
The "white room" banter is the best dialogue-heavy scene in the series.

Having the real Brahms discover the recording of Geordi ramming her digital self was uncomfortable to watch. I mean how embarrassing, ammiright?

Not Geordi's creepiest moment
Lest we forget Brahms.

Nobody ever heard of second-run theaters?
Granted, it requires a little patience - but in the Minneapolis area there are some really nice theaters that are cheap as shit (Read: Riverview)
