My Dad snuck us 3 kids onto this set in the late 70s. He worked for Needham, not on the McDonald's campaign, but just wanted to "drop in." If you go to Part 2 @ 1:49 of the top clip, that is what we had in our eyeballs. No lil singing hamburgers were up there yet - no characters. Just an empty set, deathly quiet…

This review was so deep, it just made me say "okay then."

Rupert is single now though - Ladeeez, any takers?

So you don't want to check into The Grand kill-the-guest Hotel?

Any show that takes place in the world of Britain's Queen Isabella - google her if you want to cringe - well, that story is intense and badass and I'm holding out hope.

We'll just have to move on from this, you know 'cause "People are going about their daily lives, working and shopping and playing, worshipping at churches and synagogues and mosques, going to movies and to baseball games".

Not technically prostitution, but technically skeevy.

Yup, Bill is pimping out the neighbor girl with daddy issues. Classy.

A distant dad who ignores you 'cause you don't like sports and disrepects your mom and is sleeping with his partner and is internationally famous for his penis book. You gotta feel at least something for that little shit.

But this episode was such a loving tribute…

I upvote anyone who ever says this. Also, now I want a jello pool.

Yeah, Police on My Back was spot on. It felt like Cameron chose the music and instantly made the party 100% cooler.

Think he's just afraid he'll go too far once again and have to drink another Bud Light Lime.

It's gonna be tough for Velcoro's custody battle when they find out the serial rapist is Carrot Top.

With all this waiting around, I’ve had time to catch up on my reading, picked up Carlos Castaneda’s A Separate Reality. Maybe I can finally learn To See. Hmm, looks like I’d better put magic mushrooms on my shopping list.

Whaddya expect, it's a Peter Berg show. We only honor the Manly Men, everyone else is just there for decoration.

Watch it with Catastrophe, maybe? That show has also got a great relationship between two characters who feel like actual human beings.

I usually come here to make snarky comments, but I love this show. I love the East End London neighborhoods, and how this couple genuinely seem delighted by each other. I love how the characters feel like real people - real grown-ups, with strong personalities and strong viewpoints.

This casting is so predictable.

Ja, but there hasn't been a show about this world before. Stop expecting it to be Breaking Bad, and be happy that it's better than The Killing, nein?
