So it's American Poutine?
(Poutine: a Canadian delicacy involving french fries, cheese curds, and gravy. Popular enough that you can get it at McDonald's up here).

The 2 best things about this show  so far have been A) the bits of authentic "how they did it" details (like the elevator skim in this episode)- which are VERY  much like "Crime Story" - and B) Chiklis' well-rounded, sympathetic performance (which is very much UNLIKE "Crime Story"- seriously, Ray Luca never even

Actually, that show was an Americanised remake of the British sitcom GOOD NEIGHBOURS (which is occasionally rerun on PBS to this day).

The only Mel Gibson films i own are the MAD MAX trilogy, because they're the only ones that admit a holocaust happened. (Ok, it's the WRONG holocaust, but it's a step in the right direction).

I love FRWL; I think it's the better movie and wish more Bond films were like it, but DR. NO has a broader scope; it has scenes of a sweaty Bond crawling through tunnels back-to-back with mechanical dragons and space-age science.

DR. NO is STILL kind of the definitive Bond film; all of the elements are there, in a style that accomodates both gritty realism AND theatrical flamboyance.

"The Man With the Golden Gun" is a GREAT  song… if you imagine it being sung by a drunk Bill Murray while wandering lost around a parking garage at 3 in the morning.

My favorite Bond theme of recent years was actually REJECTED by the producers (or at least shuttled off to the closing credits) in favour of a lame song by Sheryl Crowe. But k d lang will not be denied!

Try CASINO ROYALE.

Columbu is also in the original CONAN ( he's the body-painted Pict scout that leads Thulsa Doom's men to young Conan's village near the start of the film)

Apparently it ISN'T (well, not officially, anyway). It's possible studio lawyers are being dicks, which would be the only valid reason for NOT using it (it even has a good role for a younger actor as Conan's son, which is a great way to let Arnold bow out gracefully and hand the franchise over)
 Seriously, people:
