Can MTV have a show where people discuss, in a weekly half hour format, how the station was once a revolutionary music channel with deliciously original programs, but has since devolved into a creatively abysmal husk that glorifies the most stupidly insulting aspects of our culture? Haven't the focus groups figured

Yes, everything I have seen of this station for years has left me in a state of negative-delight.

Nicolas "VEENDING" "RAYF-JORN"

To me, it was just a sensory experience. It's hard to feel normal while you watch that movie.

Bronson was awesome. I watched Valhalla Rising almost immediately after. It was a really confusing thing to do.

America being compared to the UK is in no way whatsoever representative of America being compared to the rest of the world. That being said, it's unfair to dismiss racism in America as insignificant by comparison. I live a little bit down South, and some of the shit I've heard some people say in my own neighborhood

This. There are a surprising amount of people who's answer to racism is "Oh, we may have differences, but deep down we're all Americans." Take that away, and you're just another… ahem… disgusting Nigerian or something.

Now that you mention it, I don't remember seeing you in the yard when all the other boys were brought…

Some, but it's possible I stayed near the bland, manufactured touristy racist areas. Next time, I'll ask the locals where they go for the real racism.

"Slave?"
"Disgusting Nigerian?"

Trumpy, slowly listing the delicious potatoes.

Their style has gone insane over the past few albums. I think their stage show is entertaining, for what it is, and reflects their music adequately, but it definitely seems busy and directionless.

Yeah, it seems like British TV is great from America, because good shows are a huge chunk of what they actually export over here. If you're actually watching TV in the UK, it's the same bullshit collection of bad talk shows, reality television, and endless reruns of American shows we get over here.

What are the positives of cassette? If you're at home, you play a vinyl. If you're in the car, you play a CD or MP3.

I think this collection would make less and less sense the further you listened through it. I get that Of Montreal's early indie pop might sound kind of fun on a cassette, but getting through Skeletal Lamping or False Priest on cassette quality sound just sounds frustrating.

Digital music really kind of exists as a 21st century solution to the burden of a large music collection. Trying to move with 6 heavy ass boxes of jewel cases is no fun, and it just gets more ridiculous if you have vinyl, 8-track, and cassette copies of the same album for nostalgia purposes.

You didn't coin shit. That's what I call my annual Halloween circle jerk.

Sadly, your achievement will be forgotten upon the arrival of next week's Tolerability Index.

Libertarianism could only work on a very, very small scale. They'd probably have to get used to kicking people out every once in a while, as well, just to keep the gears running smoothly.

My wife has found that oversized Dogloos work pretty well for that.
