At least Blockbuster would have the new releases immediately available when they came out on video . . .

Agreed on all counts. Also, having Nikolaj Coster-Waldau responding with a "yes and no" when asked if it was rape, to me just reads as proof of the sloppiness of everyone involved (especially writing and directing). To my mind, if you are going to have a scene like that you have to make a clear distinction as to what

That's a non-canon entry. DON'T MENTION IT HERE AGAIN!

I dunno . . . "A View to a Postman" and "For Your Postman" Only" may be just as terrible

You're right about "Land" . . . I've always viewed "Night of the Living Dead" through "Land of the Dead" to be a sort of alternate universe for the world from the late 60s to the mid 00s

GoldenPostmanEye worked in achieving that I think . . . but then The Postman Never Dies, The Postman is Not Enough, and Die Another Postman just ruined it again.

"The Postman's Octopussy" is really where the series went off the rails.

You misspelled "The Sheeple".

Look, I get that the kid's an annoying little brat . . . but he's just not worth the time. Seriously, why do people put so much effort into HATING someone like this?

It's really a boring movie made by someone who seems bored. I mean the basic ideas of "Survival of the Dead" aren't anything Romero hasn't already said in much better films. He should have left things alone in the zombie realm after "Diary of the Dead" . . . not a great film, but at least it feels like it was made by

It was . . . okay. The weakest one is clearly "Survival of the Dead", which has too much genre stuff going on to work on any level (its kind of a western, and kind of a action comedy and kind of a zombie/horror flick) and on top of that, it doesn't have any original ideas. "Diary of the Dead" isn't great, but I have a

In related news I marathoned all of George A. Romero's "Dead" films this weekend. Somehow it seemed more appropriate

No actually, I saw a production back in college that was piss poor but this one was quite fantastic. Stewart and McKellen's chemistry was so natural and their performances so effortless that it suggested that the producers just found two slightly crazy homeless men who looked like Stewart and McKellen and threw them

I saw both shows . . . Jesus Christ they really are, I don't think I've ever seen anything so electrifying onstage.

If Brantely wanted to be mean, he'd be mean . . . I've seen it. As O'Neal already pointed out, his criticism is pretty tame and seems valid considering Franco doesn't seem like somebody who'd do well on stage (Its a problem a lot of actors who primarily do film, with no theatre background face).

If Westeros makes it to the modern age, I'm assuming this would be their hit reality show . . .

Arrrr Matey!

Has anyone seen the sequel? Is it worth checking out?

Tagline: "Meet the Sheeple's new Shepherd"

I know . . . Hell I'm surprised it's not in the article.
