Hm. That's odd.

I once heard someone say something similar in regards to the Japanese interment camps the U.S. started during WWII. I'm paraphrasing but it was something like, "Yeah but the Japanese camps for U.S. soliders were a lot worse. At least ours were more humane."

I loved "Into the Abyss" for this reason. He occasionally is genuinely baffled by the people he interviews, but he never condescends to or argues with them.

The "controversy" was the best thing that could have happened for his sales. Never underestimate the desire for people to hate read things or read them purely to make others angry.

I feel like this was a episode from Season One of "Enterprise".

Oh . . . right.

Why does everything have to be about "darkness" these days?

"Steel Man, Dark Knight"

No mention of Stephen Sondheim's "Assassins"? Booooooooooo!
