I suspect (or at the very least hope) that Hank does shower and that there no lady stank on his fingers, and it was just a bluff that would feed the rest of his schpiel. I did love the angry bad-ass swagger of that scene and I certainly hope that it helps Donal Louge toward an Emmy.

I assumed it was the doing of either Britt or somehow Rey, but it will be interesting to see how that storyline percolates.

Noel,
it was Katie, not Britt that said that. Sheesh, you're worse than Hank in your old age!

My favorite moment
During the Quinn/Santana fight scene, the camera gets an angle where we can see Brittney, emotionless and still, and she says in a monotone: "Stop the violence". It's so funny because it's such a sharp contrast to the rising tensions.

What worse than PG-13 Horror movies?
PG Horror Movies (with dated 90's slang and references).

Emma Stone
Besides being a stone-cold fox,was the third best thing about Zombieland (The first and second being Woody Harrelson and Bill Murray, respectively), but until this movie I wasn't sure if this promising young lady had done anything else acting wise.

Hopefully that woman can use the money from her insurance claim to pay for her daughter's vocal cord surgery.

New, week-long drinking game
A shot every time you read the word "verisimilitude" in an AVclub article. Game starts on Monday; expect to be sloshed by late that same afternoon.

Oh wow.
Is this really how you're going to follow AV Undercover? OOoookay…

Metroid: Other M
I don't know if I'll ever warm to this game. The controls are wonky at best. The writing is terrible. The voice-overs are worse. The decision to give Samus deeper characterization could have paid off if Samus weren't portrayed as a weak-willed, dependant, whiny mess. It's almost shocking to see

Other M. M other. Mother.

God damn.
Don't people have anything worthwhile to celebrate? This is just as pathetically banal as when Google posted a pac-man game on their front page people responded to it as if it were the messianic coming.

Kung Fu Hustle!
I can't wait for the write-up on that! Fantastic film, I don't know what's sadder; that they don't make as many martial arts films as they used to or that the ones they do make don't get exported to the U.S. as often.

For a book so shockingly visceral…
My greatest fear regarding a cinematic adaptation is that too many punches will be pulled.

Congratulations, Nathan!
I know what I'll be asking my relatives for for Christmas!

Oh God, save me…
I went to art school with dicks like the people who made this movie: ultra-confrontational opportunistic assholes who don't create so much as they exploit and manipulate, and anyone who thinks they could tone it back a bit is a narrow-minded plebeian with no right being here.

Rabin's Housemate
I agree with Rabin that it is perfectly yawn-inducing when people exploit past negative experiences in their lives to inspire the sympathy and compassion of their companions, but I do love Pearl Jam, and "Better Man" is a kick-ass song, so…I guess, in a ham-fisted and thoroughly retarded way, I'm

Ooh lawdy, dem titties.

He's been around since the mid-90's, more or less. And I said he was solid, not hilarious, cut me a break.
