Apple cake! I ended up making four apple cakes this weekend - my boyfriend's bday, a potluck at a volunteer event, at work for my boyfriend's birthday, and again that night on his actual birthday for his family. All four were eaten completely. I think I found a recipe to keep forever. It's best warm with ice cream

Masturbating and cheetos

@anthonyjrand:disqus  Yeah Winobot is a huge icon among our friends. I even named my laptop Winobot when I first got it.

I wanna make love to a school boy

The Desolation of Pizza House

I guess I didn't mind it, but I can see how someone would find it a  little heavy handed or boring. Sopranos came first and definitely did it better than Mad Men, but I don't think its a surprise that Matthew Weiner was involved in later Sopranos and the themes overlap on Mad Men

Thanks for the snark/not so intelligent conversation.

I think the plot didn't tell us anything we didn't know about Tony, but it changed the actual character  (which was what the Sopranos absolutely was a master at - making you feel as though these characters weren't just there for your entertainment, but actual, existing people).

I actually loved the Sopranos 6B season - it did get lost in AJ and Vito some times (I wonder if that was a thematic gesture, it definitely dwelled in the depression of these lost characters) but the brilliance of that season to me was how the coma/purgatory dream/alt reality did exist under the surface of Tony's arc

Yeah I mean, another message they (besides being vegetarian) they seem to in-directly display here is the idea of a small mom-and-pop business starting to compete against a corporation (factory farming), which Chipotle is not. This commercial kind of doesn't work in their favor!

If you watch the video, they kind of indirectly advocate vegetarianism… He sees the cows, gets upset, goes home, picks some corn, chops peppers. They don't show any meat after the cow.

Yeah I have to agree, there's something somewhat malicious and snarky about this review. The lyrics aren't supposed to represent a well rounded person. I feel like a big theme in the album is being insecure, not knowing who you are or how to love yourself but those little battles end up making you who you are ("the

They won't believe you when you say…the AV Club, it did not love me

What?! But…Winobot!!!

I like From Up On Poppy Hill a lot. Definitely in the same vein as Whispers From The Heart

Yes! I love the final line/image of "I flooded my sleeves as I drove home again…"

Does your soul cast about like an OOOOOOOLD PAPPAAHH BAAG

Hahah, this is like my boyfriend and Neko Case's "This Tornado Loves You"…my alarm used to be the part where she repeatedly goes "this tornado loves you, this tornado loves you….(Neko Case belting) WHAT WILL MAKE YOU BELIEVE MEEE???" It definitely wakes you up, but I'm pretty bummed I ruined an otherwise amazing song

Her voice on that track is absolutely sublime

Red lipstick is the best. I wear it with every outfit, no matter how slobby I look. I feel like with red lipstick you just always look either really elegant, like a badass or like you're ready to start a bar fight.
