Yeah I mentioned this below with Sailor Moon. They would literally update the opening between episodes if a new character showed up.

One show that also comes to mind is the original Japanese Sailor Moon series. In the first series, each opening changes every few episodes to reflect which Sailor Scouts would join (the original has only Sailor Moon. The second has Mars & Mercury, followed by Jupiter, and Venus). Even in some later series like Sailor

Yeah. Andy Samberg. It's hard to picture her writing all her well crafted love songs and picturing his face as her muse

True story: I was the very first caller ever on the short lived JBVO (Johnny Bravo Request Live) show. I was in 4th grade and obsessed with Cartoon Cartoons, especially PPG, so I requested the episode where Buttercup starts hanging out with the Gang Green Gang. I was definitely star struck talking to Johnny Bravo

I can't wait to cover these songs on my ukulele that when I don't use I keep dressed warmly in his own crocheted vest I made. He's so cute!

Can I also say I fricken love your avatar? Peg Bundy is my hero (next to Jerri Blank)

Nice, I like this comparison. Both rule, too

I love her weirdness - I just don't understand why people use that to cast her aside. Her "weirdness" to me is her awesome authenticity.

So apparently the page also states the next three cities her residencies will be in. People were speculating just San Francisco for a while, but the confirmation is pretty rad.

Thank you. It's really lazy to cast her creativity off as weirdness. Apparently Lady Gaga does weird shit but gets critical acclaim. When Bjork does it, we all bring up that one time she wore a swan dress that happened over ten years  ago.

Agreed. Visions was more of a game changer to music than Channel Orange, in my opinion. Before people jump down my throats, I love Channel Orange. But what Grimes did was literally something I had not heard before. So much so that I didn't like it at first but after more listens I really fell in love with it. There's

and now you know…the rest of the story!

I think the correct term for Smith is jorts

I think that makes my boyfriend a Laserdiscpunk

Oh boy Bennigans!

In second grade, we had to make a drawing of someone we admire who we wish would call us, and I drew Beck

I'm glad someone else thinks Kaputt is fricken amazing.

Yeah I am a huge Sigur Ros fan but Valtari was extremely underwhelming. Absolutely loving this small new sample of new stuff however, because the Sigur Ros of Agaetis Byrjun feels so far away from how Sigur Ros is known now. To have them go back to this kind of sound would be awesome.

Ohhh god yes. Veg chili is a  big deal in our apartment. We even make it all year round, even in summer… its just a really easy dish that is full of easy protein/fiber and goes awesome with all kinds of breads.

@avclub-938603766b16954933bae247b9a4f8ac:disqus I like your idea of using Gardein beef strips, I didn't think of that! I think I may try that first, as making seitan can be a pain and I'd need to make it night 1, followed by the stew on night 2. The texture would work better, too. Now I am definitely making this stew
