I think the LOTR films are a shitfest too, and I'm a chick, no neckbeard here. The only good one was Fellowship, and the following two are garbage. I can't watch them without cringing.

I love the RB versions. Their cartoony nature seems to align better with how I view Middle Earth than Jackson's vision.

I think a huge problem with the film is that they are straying far too off from Bilbo's experiences. He may suck and I definitely could give less than a crap about his music but he opened a soup kitchen in Red Bank and its really nice.
