I'm so happy to hear this game is good.

Jackie Brown, LA Confidential, and Boogie Nights are my 1, 2, and 3 for 1997 (maybe in that order?). And nothing else, despite how many of the movies on this list and from this year I love, really even comes close.

Oh, unquestionably so.

"Sang Fezi" alone is better than No Way Out.

San Francsico has always had a huge swing following.

Setzer is great live. I haven't really liked any of BSO's albums since Dirty Boogie, but as a lifelong Stray Cats fan I can't hate on that guitar.

A similar post could be written about the supposed swing resurgence(s), as well. Its cultural relevance may wax and wane, but there's never not been a swing or trad jazz scene happening somewhere.

I'm sure it isn't good.

Is Del Amitri "Roll to Me"? The video where they were all in strollers for unknown reasons?

I still like and still listen to the Wyclef and Prodigy albums released during these two weeks. And while I don't listen to the weird little interstitial Reel Big Fish album is listed up there, I still like and listen both of the full releases it pulls songs from.

I love Season 8.

To the extreme!

Just spitballing here, but… probably because it's funny.

Sure. Bob came from accident in the sense that Lynch found footage with him visible and decided to make something of it. But not in the sene of that footage accidentally making it to a final edit of the episode with no one noticing.

That's pretty much how I spend every moment watching anything by Lynch.

Audrey's reflection in the window behind Charlie is also very different from what she's doing in the reverse shots, but it's hard to tell if that is an intentional thing or just Sherilyn Fenn not going full strength when feeding lines and shooting coverage. It was prominent enough to have been disconcerting, though.

On the plate next to Sarah Palmer's coffee table: corn?

Makes sense in the context of the actual review. Boring film, competently made.

I think the "or" is important.

Colleen Wing, Whale Rider, and Tits.
