There was a scene from the S1 or S2 when Marie was going thru her klepto faze. Hank was telling her to go so her shrink and she was half listening to him while sitting in her car. Then she drove off, running over the kid's RC car without stopping.
I think the show's getting a wee bit cute with the funky camera ankles and songs three people have heard of playing over key scenes. Like the Star Trek scene was amusing, but went on a hair too long. Minor complaints and the ending kicked ass..just don't want BB to go style over substance.
Sooo it's fairly evident Walt's going to have a Lydia problem, no?
I too expected more cat-n-mouse intrigue, but now we're just going to have some really awkward BBQs at Walt's. Top work by Dean Norris, who had not one but two spit-takes into Cranston's face during the confrontation scene.
I can't believe how over-stuffed this plot synopsis sounds.
You'll bury us all, mother.
Yeah, my brain checked out a bit on the robot vs. Wolverine/Yuriko vs. Viper fights. Loved the top of the train fight even if it was CGI'd to hell and back. That was really fun.
I empathize with you, fellow latecomer. Been catching up on the show, and it really is the best thing on network TV i've seen in ages.
Here's a minute-long juggalo rant for you to ironically enjoy. This may be satire, but it's still great:
I generally separate the art from the artist, but make an exception for the illustrious Mr. Card…and Mel Gibson.
But do you have anything from the vampire's point of view?
I blame Obama.
This is the album where Jay-Z tells us how great he is, and then suggests the skills of other rappers are substandard at best.
Yeah, thanks for ruining everything, ASSHOLE! I don't read the books, JERK. Take this shit to the experts page!
I liked both the leads overall, they're just working alongside powerhouses who get some really great material to chew on.
JG also gets a nice little speech about his first kill, "I threw up on the first one, you believe that? Second was no fuckin' Mardi Gras either…"
Natalie and I are already betrothed, so back the hell off, Kilmer!
The worst thing about Charlie Sheen isn't necessarily the man himself, but the sub-section of guy culture that lauds him as being some sort of super awesome alpha male.
CBS would be smart to make some changes to the direction King took the book. Really, I'm in it to see Dean Norris as Big Jim, but if the series goes the way of the novel, I'm out.
