Shags is one of my favorite peripheral characters as well. He has some great lines in Book 4. "You DO love me!"

Loras is a bit of a hoochie..

I thought it was there a bit, but I hope to hell they don't go that route.

I was thinking stunt ass for Brienne there. The way it was edited had me wondering.

Qyburn was having a little too much fun tending Jaime. Those eyes…yowza!

Is Greyscale communicable? I thought that was part of the reason for the stigma. Also, I'm sure from Stannis's POV, he's ashamed to produce a child w/ such a taint.

What was w/ Roose hemming and hawing about Cersei's fate? "How do I say this? She's alive and well." Was he messing w/ Jaime there, cuz saying 'she's alive and well' shouldn't take that much thought.

Poor TV Jon is getting short shrift. Seems he's getting one measly scene every other episode.

I got a little misty when Stannis visited Shireen locked up in that dank room. What a sweet kid.

Here's the Vaas actor in the Far Cry live action movie released in conjunction with the game. NSFW

Dwayne Johnson needs to have an action franchise built around him, and I'm not talking about Fast N Furious or GI Joe. He's got comedy chops and a charisma that would allow a smart director to do something great with him.

I actually found the Reek/Ramsay stuff from the book confusing, but the way the show handles Theon's escape and recapture are not exactly clear either, even if you know the books. Ramsay's sadistic smile when he brought Theon back to the torture room was telling, however.

Charles Dance is awesome.  He's brought charisma and humor to such an austere bastard of a character. Major league lulz when he called Tyrion a "lecherous stump," and I loved his exchange with Cersei. "Confide."

I think she's been quite strong in spite of her circumstances. She's naive, not stupid, and also made of sterner stuff than it initially appeared.

SPOILERS

SPOILERS I GUESS

Yes, the guy who released/recaptured Theon is Ramsay. The guy that hit him on the head was part of Theon's Iron Islander crew..Dagmar maybe? Finchy from The Office if that rings a bell.

It's a bit of telling rather than showing, I agree. Littlefinger is one of my favorite characters from the books, and here he's not only more cruel and sadistic but he's blabbing his plans around too much. Book Baelish would scoff at his TV counterpart's tactics thus far.

Yeah, his stuff is a little abstract and weird for my taste (SPOILERS).

Just reflecting on this ep, and it may be the best of the series run so far. Most everything clicked, from the great Varys/Olenna scenes to the Unsullied slow clap to cap things off. A well deserved A indeed..
