I'm beginning to wonder if Mickey's.. not-getting-killed-ness is a running joke among the writers. A character like his is just asking for a bullet and he keeps not getting it. I hope he sticks around.

I'd like to see him take some measure of vengeance on those jerks he works with. It's a testament to Shannon's work on the show that I like him despite his self-righteous stuffiness.

The writers could have added a "Hot enough for ya?" from Gyp as the sheriff burned. What a bunch of hacks.

"Diffuse" and "scattered" are good adjectives for this episode. I just wasn't into the main plot points and the side stuff seemed more extraneous than usual (Chalky and Eli family troubles). I too like Steedle as Billie (Gyp is good, too) and there were some good individual scenes, but I don't know, nothing struck me…
