Tend to agree that the opening bit was too on the nose, i.e. sadistic gangster takes offhanded comment as personal insult, but the scene with Rosetti insulting the other bootleggers was great. Loved Rothstein's sickly smile at the dentist crack. And I'm already fascinated w/ the Richard-Gillian dynamic. Very good…
