This album is the rare "so overrated that it may now be underrated." It doesn't help that one of its strongest tunes just makes everyone think of the Wonder Years, though.

I like that Amboy Dukes album, especially Nugent's guitar work on "Baby Please Don't Go" (which is on Nuggets). Still hate that Motor City Madman though.

"Your Blues" is sort of the proto-"Kaputt," but generally its MIDI-string-heavy production leaves people crying for "generic indie stuff." I probably prefer those songs on the "Notorious Lightning EP" where he plays with with Frog Eyes as a backing band.
