Big deal. For 10 bucks I got my picture taken in Times Square with a really pushy Mario who reeked of cigarettes. Then he got in a fist fight with Elmo. He might be Italian but they were definitely swearing at each other in Spanish.

I HAVE noticed that. It sucks because, abstractly, I really like the idea of the most local government having the most power—presumably it'd be the most tuned in to the needs of its electorate, and be the easiest to hold accountable…but for whatever reason that seems to always result in people trying to turn someone…
I guess they're more into the visual aesthetic—spandex, neon colors, and big hair—than, say, virtuoso guitar solos.
My understanding is that they were basically a blues outfit before Piper At the Gates of Dawn came out, and Pete Townsend (most notably) was bummed that the album didn't reflect what the band was like live.

I think its made me like Jerry Seinfeld MORE—seeing him with comedians he really respects, or who really respect him. Not to mention when he talks about the car. Reverence wasn't something you saw a lot of on the TV show.
