So many cats got eaten that day at the beach…

Eyvind Earle did a bunch of the art for Sleeping Beauty, and you can spend 10 minutes in worse ways than scrolling through his Google Image results. Very stylized, mid-century modern stuff.

It's hard to say, since they could be greenlighted, made, and released while one of them was playing.

I feel like the main problem of Beauty and the Beast is that the prince gets turned into a Beast for turning an old woman away based on her looks, and so he has to…attract a woman who's so good looking her name literally means beauty?

There's a line in 30 Rock when Hank Hooper tells Jack that "In my day, a movie was just a man in a hat chasing another man" and at the risk of sounding like Hank Hooper, Harry Lloyd made a whole movie about a guy climbing up a building and it's great.

Are you comin' with me?
Come let me take you on a VOD ride
And I'll teach you, teach you, teach you
I'll teach you the electric lines

I feel like a Kanye biopic could only be good if he wasn't involved at all. But his rise as a producer, producing for Jay-Z, hanging out with Chapelle, those first three records, his mom dying, his subsequent spiral into releasing things that are less albums or tweets or fashion lines than cries for help?

Geez. Would you tell Tom Petty that?

Man was in a movie called "The Hustler" what more do people WANT!

Right? I knew who Paul Newman is and I didn't connect "Newman's Own" with him until someone pointed it out. There's plenty of people who look sort of like, say, Chef Boyardee.

"For all my southside spiders
That know me best
I think that me and Wilbur might still have sex
Why? I made that pig faaaaamous"

So…counterexample I guess.

I'd argue that Zuckerberg's "What? How could WE possibly influence anything?!" should be a reason NOT to advertise with them…you know if it were remotely true…

Burr (A vulture): "Don't think we can pass that bill
There's too much pork!"

Got lots of Alex hidden on there too!

Seems like Alex and Jim Dickinson just love that mess. His first solo album had the same situation:

I feel like Messy Alex is more fun to hang out with on "Like Flies on Sherbet"

Have you heard him playing acoustic live? "Electricity by Candlelight"? He covers Beach Boys and does "Girl from Ipanema." Really delightful room and cheerful Chilton record.

"Radio City" is my favorite (Try "O My Soul" and "September Gurls"), then Chilton's "Like Flies on Sherbet" (which is a fucking mess!) then the first one then Chris Bell's "I Am The Cosmos" which Alex Chilton plays on anyway.
