I'm curious about the discussion with Skye's parents. Did Raina mean they were monsters, as in bad people or actual monsters. I just don't see the show going in that direction of having actual monsters or live aliens. I think it would be a big shift in the tone of this show.

Yeah "Secret" ,more like we realized everyone hates Ward so how do we get rid of him.

Plenty of money to show CGI shots of the Bus flying close to the water, or landing in snow though.

Maybe Talbot watched the Fresh Prince
"That's a fake mustache"
"No it's not"
"It's Not"

Me too, Ward is much more fun to watch, even though he is still a terrible actor. He's just not a boring bad actor now he is the campy bad guy bad actor.

This episode was ok. It seemed to be spinning it's wheels again with not much happening on Coulson's team side from so stuff about Coulson being crazy that wasn't convincingly acted and went nowhere. I'll say this Dalton is still a bad actor but his character is more fun at least.

I kept wanting one of the other agents at the Hub to look at her and go "who the f are you and why are you acting like you are in charge?"

is he going to be in future episodes or was this just a Adrian Pasadar filming at his house and glued on 2 pieces of felt?

The outdoor shots weren't too bad, but the show still relies on boring looking corridors and concrete buildings.

true I forgot they were sub 5 last week before the bump. It is worth noting in overall viewers AOS doesn't even make the top 25 of shows each week.

Obligatory Ratings message - Up 2.0/6 5.07 Million Viewers. I guess it can be spun that the show is up in the 18-49 demo for this week, but those Viewer numbers are just bleeding a slow death, how much longer till we are down to the low 4 millions. I can't imagine ABC can be happy with this?

Oh I know the thought behind, but it just didn't seem to belong in this sort of show.

That may end up going nowhere though. There have been other instances where lines of dialogue or scenes like that this that don't have any pay off.

Nope your not the only one, I wonder how much of him turning traitor has to do with the character not really connecting

What was up with the Grey's Anatomy cheesy music at the end? It was like Coulson was telling Ward that a family member died with the slow motion/no sound montage. This was a reminder that this is an ABC Studios show.

I was a little let down by this to be honest. I remember the president of ABC saying the Clairvoyant would be pretty cool. I was just let down that it ended up being just a turncoat agent afterall.

I thought this episode was great but it doesn't retroactively make the older episodes better. If anything many of the reveals in the episode don't feel like planned from the start reveals but a soft reboot since the back 9 were picked up. Note to the writers , Skye works best when she isn't the centre of the show,

Sorry about that I did read what you were saying wrong. While the show needs to work in the context of the Movies and as a good show in generally, things like Hand being the clairvoyant would really stray outside of the the Marvel Comics characters. I see what you mean, I sometimes wonder what audience they are going

I don't have a problem with Aerial shots of the cities but cutting from a shot of the Sydney Opera House to the inside of a non-descript apartment from anywhere town kills the global scale the show is going for.

Yes, I noticed that as well, why does the show spend so much time and money on shots of the BUS but cheaps out on sets and stuff.
