The climactic scene in Heavenly Creatures. Not so much for the action—though that is plenty horrific—but for the SOUND the woman makes. It has haunted my dreams for years.

Bridge Over The Planet Of The Apes, you say? I can't say I wouldn't watch the crap out of that movie…

Nina Simone - "Ne Me Quitte Pas"
J Dilla - "The Last Donut of the Night"
Outkast - "Growing Old"
Ennio Morricone - "Vita Nostra"

"No. You stay. I go."

Where do you bury the survivors?

That's where it falls apart a bit, but Sarah mentions that she doesn't know her birth parents and was fostered out, so it's possible if there's some guiding hand behind it then the same could be true for the others, and the names they were "issued" would stick.

We haven't seen the French one yet, and she may well be dead already, but I could have sworn when Sarah is looking through the briefcase she saw (and read aloud) the name "Danielle Fournier" in reference to the French clone.

This is probably way off, but it did cross my mind that maybe there's an alphabetical thing with their names that hints at how many clones there are:

Blackagar Boltagon is my favorite, but Boston Brand is way up there.

I was kind of surprised it took a few pages for someone to mention The Iron Giant. That's as perfect a film as I've ever seen, animated or otherwise.

Lost… in Space?

I like to think at some point Arnold's doctor said to him:

CGI Pounder?

One of my perennial favorites and one I've heard positive responses from my female friends on is Kyle Baker's WHY I HATE SATURN. It's dated in that it was released on 1990, but it holds up remarkably well and is still laugh-out-loud funny.

Also, Bert Macklin is on Seal Team 6. I do wish someone had warned me.

I can't like this enough.
