I Agree who the dude who wants The Spook. Also, The Wanderers, a pulpy gang war movie set in early 60s NY that unfortunately came out in the same year as the Warriors. And Blue Collar, starring Richard Pryor and Harvey Kitel and directed by Paul Schrader, yet somehow not even acknowledged to exist by Netflix (try it).

Hate to be that comic book dude ('sup Phipps!)
But for me, it's Watchmen. I don't reread or rewatch much of anything, I don't own a or collect a lot of stuff, I get all my books from the library. But I have this copy of Watchmen that I've been carrying around since I was 17. And read it something like 4 or 5 times a

Reservoir Dogs
Mr. Blond's full of 'em: "Keep talkin' like a bitch and I'm gonna hit you like one", and "Are you gonna bark all day little doggie, or are you gonna bite?" just to name a couple. There's also Keitel's "You shoot me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize".

I was in 8th grade
And this was indeed where it started for me, I got into the "the" bands and took it from there, and Kanye West was the first producer that actually made me consider what a producer was. 2001 was my cool kid boot camp, now I'm all 23 and worried about losing my edge and shit.

Bad was better as a movie
That movie being "Moonwalker". I wore that VHS out when I was a youngin'. My nigga turns into a car, a spaceship, and a robot with permed hair:

and it does happen in movies
half of the movies out are remakes

Man, you guys suck at listening to the Strokes.

The Strokes
Imagine them putting out only two records and abruptly disbanding. Sure we'd all wonder what might have been, but they'd be legends. Instead we got fucking bongos on the first track of their last record.

Saw em open for King Khan and BBQ
And bought their first record there, which was good if not a little over produced, which a mutual buddy tells me they were bummed about too. Too bad they didn't keep it country, we don't really need another cutesy bad-kid band. Their live show brought the heat though. Also the little

You mean Jeezy and Yeezy
Weezy has nothing to do with "Put On".

Anything from the Vince Gauaraldi Trio self titled
Probably Three Coins in the Fountain. It's a comforting record and it might just succeed at putting me at ease, which is all I'd want. No big statements outta me at the end.

That voice over was a pretty funny way of handling it if you ask me. As was John Hamm doing a single line from it the second time he hosted:

Ma'iiiiiin!

No Chapelle's Show?
Makes sense, looks like you wanted to focus on movie rolls. Still, I have a friend that always says "When I leave, come together like butt cheeks", whenever he makes an exit.

Take me home tonight looks awful
Why would the dude from That 70s Show make a movie that everyone will just make "That 80s Movie" jokes about and promptly forget? You fuckin' up Topher. See, what your ass needs to do is make a movie that's set, like, in the future.

I Ain't Tha 1
By NWA, I'm a regular apologist of hip-hop's ever present misogyny but this song tops the list. Cube's one of my all time favorites and he absolutely slays on this song.
So no, I don't cringe when he says "you know, I spell girl with a 'B'".

Some Kind Of Monster
There's a deleted scene on the DVD where Lars doesn't ware a Hawaiian shirt to Kirk's surf themed birthday party, get's pissy, and says "Life is an eternal birthday party for someone else".

Grindhouse
The movie tanked but I went with my dweeb friends in theatre full of other dweebs and their dweeb friends and we all ate it up. I remember being sure it would be a hit, it was possibly the most fun time I've ever had at the movies, and I've seen Kazaam.

I interviewed death once
had to shelve it but if they go on tour for this I'm puttin' that sucker out.
