Werner Herzog actually made a science fiction move using almost all documentary footage (of course, much of it was from NASA), interspersed with footage of a narrator. Called The Wild Blue Yonder, it will try most peoples patience, but for the very patient, it is pretty neat. The soundtrack is awesome.

Spoliers, Dr. . . Fry?

This isn't important . . . but I don't think he was trying to paint a rosy picture of his youthful self.

Thinner
I haven't watched this episode yet but the set-up sounds exactly like this Stephen King book I read in middle school, called "Thinner", I think. The character is getting "road head" from his wife and he accidently hits a gypsy. The gypsy curses him to get thinner and thinner. Somehow, this is all the wife's

You may be right about that. I haven't earned it.

Chuck and Sarah
Chuck and Sarah are possibly the worst tv couple ever. These two fictional characters do not deserve to find love or happiness.

Scarcely did you realize as your momma was changing your Green Bay diaper that one day you would be triumphantly posting on this message board!

"Stay Out - This Means You!!!"
Would William Bell really put a piece of scotch tape with "STAY OUT - THIS MEANS YOU!" written on it on his super secret hidden safe? Did he put it there when he was nine? A very minor thing, admittedly, but it seemed pretty ridiculous to me.

an ensemble heavy hour
Well, it wasn't an hour, but your review made me think that this might be a rare half-hour sitcom which could actually make pretty good use of an hour-long episode. I liked those long episodes of the Office a few years back just fine, but they really didn't do anything with the extra time other

I've been wondering in the past few years whether my former appreciation of the black eyed peas was age-related insanity, or whether there had been a significant change of some kind. While I still refuse to honsestly consider that they might have been a decent act, I'm glad to get some indication that I wasn't

Take one for the team: type out whatever your trying to say and save us the effort of trying to figure out what the fuck you're talking about.

I'm liking it quite a bit as well. The highlight of the evening for me, though that might partially be due to the novelty. In any case I thought it was very funny. Sure, the mother-in-law is not the most original place to go but the rest of it was creative enough. I do agree with Mr. Kaiser that the guidance

Me too. I really wanted to see them but I couldn't convince anyone to go with me. I was going to go anyway but had an intense bout of social anxiety and stayed home, feeling like a weak-willed idiot. Even more so now. Very special music.

This doesn't necessarily mean it's a good track, but take the following incident into account: I am not inclined to like Revolution 9. One time I had taken a lot of mushrooms and was listening to an ipod on shuffle among friends when Revolution 9 came on. My first reaction was "I see what they are trying to do, but

Nurse JAckie?
NURSE jaCKIE? Are you fuckin kidding me?

Chairman Michael Steele
I felt kind of bad for Kenan Thompson having to do a probably passing Michael Steele impression so soon after one of Wyatt Cenac's sesame street versions on The Daily Show. It was ok, but I kept waiting for him to say "bibble."

abcdefz, will you please publish your list of what poetry is poetry and what poetry is not poetry? That will be really handy to have.

Look Around You
Look Around You is awesome. I had not made the connection with this guy until now, but his stock is rising.

Yeah, I don't think the show is being name checked because it's really awesome or anything, it's just the kind of thing Liz would be obsessed with.

I liked the last episode better than this one. This one was ok but it didn't resonate that well with me. It's probably because I hate Christmas and joy. Also, the dolls were ugly.
