It's a toss-up for me concerning favorite King novel but IT is definitely up there. Patrick Hockstetter's death was pretty creepy but was nothing compared to all the minor details of IT's presence in Derry over the years:

*SPOILERS* It's really difficult to rewatch this series knowing Christopher's fate. Also, Tony and Christopher's relationship illustrates just how much of a monster Tony really is.

She's acknowledged in interviews that she realizes her image to the public is a generally unlikeable one. Couple that with the fact her movies (with the exception of Knocked Up) tank almost every time and you would think she would either choose a new career willingly or Hollywood would make the decision for her.

I really liked Tony's scenes with Melfi but probably the most unnecessary plot ever was Melfi outside that room. Melfi with her son, Melfi with that douchenozzle Klupferberg, Melfi at dinner parties, basically anything Melfi did outside of the therapist room with Tony was superfluous and grating.

I think Tony's strong reaction to Noah has a lot to do with this being the first time he's exposed to not only his daughter dating but dating someone outside his family's social circle.
