People with too much money and lofty expectations ruining everything for the rest of us? You don't say!

"What you doin, Larry? Out here scroungin' around for some ass?"

Wiger would either be incredibly grating or hilarious to get drunk with.

Haha you completely paraphrased my comment from the Earwolf subreddit. That exchange was the highlight of the episode for me, as well. Doughboys needs to go completely off the rails more often. More guests! More competitive eating! More chaos!

His starring segment from V/H/S was by far the best in that movie and maybe the whole series.

I liked Happy Christmas even though it was so low stakes (really? The climactic scene is Anna Kendrick burning a pizza she left in the oven?)

Totally agree - this was my main beef when I saw the first image of the new Pennywise. Mawfucka looks like the Babadook in clown make up. The imagery from the book, a seemingly normal looking clown completely out of place and isolated from its natural environment. A clown in basically any environment outside of the

Pet Sematary has perhaps my favorite passage from any of King's work - toward the end of the book when the mother is driving cross country to get home and it's in the middle of the night and she's at a truck stop, and the sound of semis honking their horns in the distance, the sound blending together as if to create

Where's the "Me Time", Billy?

I feel like the rest of that game was just a series of make-up calls, especially that last drive where they decided to call 3 consecutive holding calls on the Bears, eliminating 3 potential game-tying plays. I truly believe refs could call offensive holding on every play and they just pick and choose when to call it

As a Lions fan watching that game, it's all too familiar to go to the "refs hate us and are intentionally fucking us here!" mentality, but I think in this case the linesman (or woman in this case) threw the flag and reported the call to Triplette, and like the telephone game, he misunderstood what they said.

Good point - the absolute best aspect of that podcast was his digging through old X-Files fan forums back from the very dawn of the internet and observing how our attitudes and online interactions have changed in the 20+ years since. I mean, he essentially mapped the very beginning of "trolling" from those fan forums.

Bummer both of Kumail's podcasts (X-Files Files and Indoor Kids) are on seemingly permanent hiatus and doubtful to ever return :( :(

This reads like a Trump tweet. All you're missing is the "Sad!" at the end.

I like Michael Che just fine but saying everywhere outside of New York is just a less than version of New York is just so eye roll-inducing and is something somebody doing an impression of a Brooklynite snob would say. Fuck off with that cultural hubris.

Nick and Mitch have implied several times that Scott is aware of Doughboys and thoroughly disgusted/put-off by the concept.

Mitch: "Stone Cold Steve Austin is in the top 50 fictional characters of all time!"
Lil Wiges: *Audibly groans
Spoon Nation, collectively: AWWW HELLLL YAAAAA!

"I'm racist…to a point." So, you're racist.

Leaning….leaning….

Cam Newton lookin' like that time Baron Samedi guest starred on A Different World.
