Yeah. A bit.
Yeah. A bit.
I mentioned this on the other thread, but my main problem with Take Shelter was Michael Shannon being cast in that part.
Go put my luggage back in the car, Torgo!
If The World's End had just stayed as it started out (a relatively real-world midlife crisis story), it could have been been brilliant. However, it grew dumber and dumber the more sci-fi it got and the end was a total mess that pissed all over any point it was trying to make.
Only up to 21?
Maybe someone will offer him a lemonade…
The Dark Batkid.
And then there's the other commercial where he mentions how we need to save the rain forest. Could you imagine all the Fox News tantrums that would ensue if something like that happened today?

Frozen is a slog at first, but things pick up when they go out in hunt of Ice Princess What's Her Face. The songs are pretty much tacked on; this story didn't really need to be a musical.
The Tree of Life couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a period family drama or a Kubrick knockoff, so it wound up being an unsatisfying hybrid of them both.
Also fine choices. I was really surprised by how wrapped up I was in Wreck-It Ralph. Both it and The Lego Movie were far better than they had any right being.
