I know I was playing the game heavily around 4th edition.  I remember buying a box of Ice Age.
I actually played a little bit with some other law school students back about 4 years ago or so.

Don't forget Freedy Johnston - On the Way Out

That's a start.  I agree with them, that the 50th is a good starting point.
To clarify, I like a lot of Motown stuff, and their big hits are solid.  I think I just feel like the Stax output, while their hits weren't as massive, they were a little more predictably great.  Their average level was a bit better.

Nicely covered, but now we need Stax.

I also add my enthusiasm for Hole.  It feels a little like it's aimed at kids, but it doesn't feel at all patronizing.  It's a damn good movie.

I had my garageband during the mid-90s, playing very pop-like stuff.  I've had a hard time finding material that matches the type of quality that we had, trying to rock a little harder than we were able to.
But this site, For Those Who Tried To Rock, picked up our story.  From there, I got a call from Luke Burbank, and

I agree with the Ultimate Spider-Man line.  The plots were tightly wound together, and that makes it a much easier read than the normal monthly comics of the 60s.
But I'm disappointed to see a lack of love for the late 60s - early 90s.
I'd say that everything in Amazing Spider-Man between around 50-350 is entirely worth

The collection of songs is good… except two songs.  New French Girlfriend relies on outdated stereotypes, which makes is pretty unfunny.  And You Spit When You Talk didn't seem to have anything to offer.
