Because I adore P3 and P4, I downloaded P1 and P2 to my Vita but only played a little of P1 before I got bored and abandoned it. Should I take another look at P2? And should I start with Innocent Sin or the other one?

I'm actually replaying FFXII right now and am near the end. You're absolutely right that the story is a little too thin to stretch out over the whole game (so they have to supplement the compelling and grounded political drama with some typical FF religious hokum), but the game's merits more than make up for this flaw.

That original take being that aliens are fucking morons.

I don't have it in me to rank all their albums, but I can say that Revolver sits firmly at #1 for me. I don't even have to agonize over it. It's Revolver.

I feel like it makes me a bad feminist that I buy the Spike thing. I'm not saying I love the storyline or anything, but I buy that ensouled Spike is a fundamentally different creature than soulless Spike, and therefore I'm okay with letting him somewhat off the hook for the attempted rape (I say somewhat because they

Not enough people know how awesome The Emperor's New Groove is. It didn't help that it was horribly marketed. One of my roommates brought it home from Blockbusters, and we made fun of him (because he always picked terrible movies). Then we watched it. Then we couldn't decide if it was as good as we thought it was or

Miller's Crossing isn't one of the Coens' more interesting films, but it is absolutely impeccable.

I'm a little shocked to learn that there are apparently people who don't love The Hudsucker Proxy.

Oh dear. I mean, he's a handsome fellow, but he does look like his head got stuck in a vise, doesn't he?

My problem with Asaf's "redemption arc" is that I'm pretty sure he's going to screw it up (like when he blew up during Vegas week). I don't dislike him as much as some around here; I just think he's a bit petulant. But I want him to go home on a pleasant narrative, and keeping him around just gives him more

Spoilsport!

I didn't watch wrestling growing up, so my first exposure was when someone had it on in my college dorm lobby back in 1996 or so. The episode involved Stephanie McMahan being forced to marry the Undertaker or something, and then Stone Cold Steven Austin saved her. I had no idea what was going on, but I was hooked. I

The branding bothered me because I don't care how stoic and sociopathic Hannibal is, he has nerve endings and no way does someone show no reaction whatsoever when being seared with red-hot iron. That's taking Hannibal's unflappability a bit too far for me.

I know. I miss high-strung but relatively sane Will from season 1. I really want him to get his dogs back.

Having not followed Harris's work past Silence, all I can say is: WHAT???

My feeling was that Hannibal believed Will's declaration that he was done chasing him, and so he surrendered so that Will, despite his decree, would always know where to find him. In other words, Will gave up Hannibal, but Hannibal can't give up Will. Poor Will.

I would endorse this explanation if American Horror Story weren't nominated.

Agreed. Asaf is ridiculously good looking, and not as good a dancer as he needs to be, and too impetuous by half, but "Ken doll" isn't a fair aspersion. He needs to grow up a bit (and probably won't), but he's not a bland prettyboy.

I might have missed a crack about their costuming from Nigel or Derulo, but if memory serves it was actually Paula who said she hoped they'd be better served by wardrobe in the future.

Agreed. Honestly, I don't even bother recommending Hannibal to a lot of people, because I know they won't like it (not because they're such tasteless rubes, but because it's a pretty niche show).
