I'm the same way, I think because I love being introduced to a new world (or even a familiar world in a new medium).

So what you're saying is you're a giant snob who judges others by their accents?
Right? I was almost glad when Chiyoh threw Will off the train (and, for the record, I'm in this show for Will) because it ended yet another tedious conversation that no real people would have ever.
Margot's dress was the star of the episode, and that's saying something.
I just watched this episode and the last episode back to back from DVR, and I said the exact same thing to myself when the inspector's intestines hit the courtyard: "I can't believe anyone let this on TV in the first place!"
You just reminded me how irritated I was to be given a stupid plastic-mold Barbie (it didn't even have movable limbs!) while my brother got a Hot Wheels on the rare occasions my parents would take us through McDonald's. Curse you, gender specific fast food toys!
I think he just loves chocolate mousse THAT much.
I just picture him perking up at the chocolate mousse discussion — "Oh we're talking about chocolate mousse now? BOTTOMLESS chocolate mousse you say? Do continue!" — and then slumping back down when the interview moved on.
I didn't get an asshole impression at all — just a fairly uncomplicated person with little imagination. Or maybe he's just shy. He loves chocolate mousse, though, so he's a-okay in my book.
So you were just being an asshole when you asked "Who said they were the same?" Never mind, I answered my own question.
No, dear. I understand that your trolling default is to refer to others as intellectually deficient, but you're going to have to work a little harder. YOU said you didn't claim previously naked McGowan and currently offended McGowan are of the same cloth, which negates your claim of hypocrisy. Please try again.
You, you nitwit. Calling McGowan a hypocrite for having been photographed/filmed nude yet having a problem with a casting call requiring female auditioners to dress provocatively indicates that you think those are the same thing and thus one would be a hypocrite to endorse one but not the other.
Great reviews, incredibly low viewership.
This is the first season I've watched live, and honestly I think it works better waiting until the season is complete and then plunging in. If nothing else, the commercials are so dissonant. Even the Yoplait lady takes on a nightmarish tinge when she pops up during Hannibal.
NOW IS NOT THE TIME, MICHELLE!
The Dark is Rising series is fan-fucking-tastic.
Yeah, it's far better than Twilight. That's not to say it's good, exactly (it somehow manages to showcase not one but two Mary Sue's, sharing the same body), but it's at least interesting.
Everyone's ultimate "That Guy" is different, and this is mine. I saw a new "Random Roles," thought "Yay, a new 'Random Roles,'" was disappointed when I didn't recognize the name (I usually at least recognize the name), then clicked on the interview and was like, "Oh shit, THAT GUY! I love That Guy!"
I'd say it's an attack against black people who happened to be Christian, while Fox News is trying to paint it as an attack on Christians who happened to be black.
Most southerners I know who are ambivalent about or resistant to the demise of the Confederate flag don't feel that way because they support slavery, or wish the south had won, or consider the Civil War a "War of Northern Aggression" or even are (knowingly) racist. The problem is that southerners in the modern era…
