Okay, so you didn't like this one, but the fucking puppet episode gets a pass?

There have been multiple reporters who have "reliable sources" who have been saying NBC will decide on/announce bubble shows today.

I have to imagine there's already a gif of him throwing down the fork and storming away.

Poor Winston. Even in an episode called "Winston's Birthday" he still gets absolutely nothing to do.

The final episode of season 3 took place at the end of the summer semester, which Jeff used to retake Biology.

"You never, never lose
And you always, always win
We loved your grey hair
And we loved your pale skin…doesntwork"

Any plans for this show to be covered weekly?

Fair enough. I don't get the sarcastic vibe that you do, but I could see why getting that vibe would make someone angry.

I mean…does he have to have a P.h.d in Hip Hop or what? Also, I think fiscal irresponsibility, gay panic, and misogyny sums up a large portion of current mainstream hip hop. "Disgusting" is a strong word and an odd one to apply to this situation.

Also, Bobrow said on twitter last week that we were still pre-Christmas (the party was in early December) but there's definitely no fucking way that's true with two episodes in a row of characters announcing that things took place exactly a year ago  in spring. So there was definitely a time jump.

I live in Iowa and Fro Yo didn't hit us until about a year and a half ago.

I really liked this one. It wasn't particularly funny, but the storytelling was very well done and it had some big laughs. I completely disagree about the sound design, I thought it was a cool effect.

I don't know if you understand that "Oh Bo" is intentionally disgusting because, as alluded to at the beginning, it's a satire of the current state of hip hop. I mean, his stuff does get gross, but "Oh Bo" is a few levels above the rest of it.

It was something like his grandpa's fourth wife.

More like a Girls porno, amirite? Jk, that's basically what Girls is already. DOUBLE SLAM!!!!!

Lamorne Morris really did a good job of acting in a way that was different from Present-Day Winston, but still seemed like something Winston would have grown out of.

I literally had that exact same conversation about suits and tuxedos with my friends two hours before this episode. Previous to that, they decided that if we were in New Girl, I'd definitely be Nick Miller until we discovered that for some reason I lack the ability to frown.

By "blatant The Soup rip-off", do you mean the officially authorized spin-off of The Soup back when they thought that was a good idea (Oh god, Sports Soup…)?

Geez. I feel like in sync with most Av club commenters on everything BUT their odd undying hatred of Chris Hardwick. Seriously, the comment thread of every Hardwick-related article just becomes an anti-Hardwick circlejerk.

If I had to guess, the christmas episode is about when they found the were't coming back until 2013 and they went "Oh fuck, this screws everything up, let's just do a time jump." But didn't Jeff say in the premiere that he was graduating at the end of the semester? So theoretically, he should have graduated. Oh well.
