I think that's what Brandon Flowers was going for when he said the Killers' album "Sam's Town" would prove to be the best rock and roll album of the last twenty years. (In retrospect, he might have been right).

Oasis is just the greatest, and this is probably their second best album. "Be Here Now" and "Don't Believe the Truth" are both respectable efforts, but "What's the Story" is iconic, beautiful, brash, a revival that of all that was great about the '60s merged with the best of '90s rock. And "Don't Look Back in Anger"…
