- "Fold Your Hands, Child, You Walk like a Peasant" by Belle & Sebastian? Admittedly it has their best song ("Waiting for the Moon to Rise"), but as a whole it's not up to the standards of their other albums. This was the moment when they showed they were fallible.

I'm not a huge fan of Gervais, but I loved his movie "Cemetery Junction." He directed and also had a small part as a foul-mouthed working class father. Hilarious.

Wait, seriously?

Fantastic! I loved Farley Granger in Rope and Strangers on a Train.

I've heard some great things about Michael Shur, too.

@avclub-7f87bb91e1944c0485c54044a3d85c44:disqus That's inspiring. A life can be made right!

@avclub-9024f9f0a80d2d248c7c6efb2e715c37:disqus Okay, I do have a soft spot in my heart for Charles Dexter Ward. That's just brilliant storytelling.

@avclub-d324a0cc02881779dcda44a675fdcaaa:disqus That was John Cleese? I'll be damned.

"I shall never forget that hideous summer sixteen years ago when, like a noxious Afrite through the halls of Eblis, typhoid stalked leeringly through Arkham."

They're both great, but I actually give a slight edge to The Great Muppet Caper. It had a corking plot, some great songs, and one of my favorite exchanges in any movie ever:

Yeah, I remember when he showed the original Time Machine with Rod… Stewart? Serling? Oh, Taylor. Rod Taylor. Damned good movie. Taylor was perfect in the lead role, and Briggs' commentary was hilarious.

Just reading the review. Invasion of the Body Snatchers - both versions - is fantastic.

Man, I've been wanting to see this. The Manchurian Candidate is one of my ten favorite movies, full stop.

I'm a huge fan of the Bourne stories and tried reading one of Eric van Lustbader's additions to the series.

This is helpful. I've been thinking about watching Futurama, but didn't know where to start.

I, for one, welcome their new nematode overlords

I got a "Castle" notification for THIS?

Who are some good French rap artists?

Yes. One episode of The X-Files got it (my favorite episode of television ever), and another one from the same season would have gotten it if the writer had known they were doing that.

Yeah, I think what's happening in this scene is that when he says, "BFD…" he sees how impressed Jim is and immediately tries to top it by saying something genuinely inspiring. He fails, of course, because Michael can only inspire when he's not trying to.
