Thanks, that's encouraging. I love The Wire!

Yeah, why does it say "Burns' Heir" up top when he promised us "Barts Gets an Elephant" last week?

saw it coming.

Thank you. I was sorely tempted to watch that video a few days ago, but it was getting a lot of hate in the comments.

"Simpsons" reaches its postmodern apotheosis tonight with an episode where Bart watches actors portraying his family. The Estonian dwarf is terrifying, but also somehow hilarious.

Is that show still on?

I keep hearing about this show. I tried to watch the first episode, and it was suitably moody and Lord-of-the-Rings-ish. I've heard there's a major twist near the end of the first season that changes your whole perspective. Do we find out that Westeros is in the middle of twenty-first century Manhattan or something?

I thought she was excellent on "Firefly"

Mr. F!

So says Mr. Stewart: Thanks for that. I just finished Season 5 tonight! Perhaps I should quit now.

This is one of my scariest childhood memories.

I hope that happens!

Yummsh: Well, I started it six years ago. But I got mired in Seasons 2 and 3 for two to three years… I finally made it to the end a few days ago and marathoned through Season 4 in a single day.

Finally, someone who understands me. That is to say, someone other than Kanye and Stuart Murdoch.

Agreed. In addition to Indiana Jones, I was reminded of "The Ten Commandments."

I don't even remember there being any people in the third Matrix, except for that kid who was killed by a machine, and Neo, very briefly, at the end.

That was the best part!

This explains so much.

"How crazy is it that Ben has lived 30 years knowing that this guy shot
him in the chest in cold blood, and that he will eventually meet up with
him again."

Even "Don't Mess with Texas!" would have been better.
