Would you say "Bob's Burgers" is the new "Simpsons"?

Yeah, it sounds like some people want "Parks & Recreation" to be more like "The Wire."

Season 4 had "Get on Your Feet," Ben's disastrous foray into clay-mation, the Leslie Knope Express, and "The End of the World," which is one of my four or five favorite episodes of television.

This is absolutely what I feel The Office should have done - turned into a nightmare comedy. It started going down that route during Season 4, but ultimately peered over the edge of the cliff and backed out.

I largely concur, but I have to admit I don't understand all the reservations about Season 4 of Parks & Recreation. It was my favorite season of the show, and better than Season 4 of The Office by a mile.

"Como Estas! Bien gracias!"

Also:
- "Perchance to Dream" (The Twilight Zone, Season 1)
- Any number of "Simpsons" dreams, but I'm thinking especially of the dream sequence in "Lisa's Pony"
- "The Midnight Sun" (The Twilight Zone, Season 3, coming up next week!)
- "Azumanga Dioah." This lamentably-overrated Japanese anime about four high school

This is the only real moment of weakness in this episode for me.

It could probably happen on FRINGE.

Either that, or "Twalalalopadooo!"

The great thing about "In Rod We Trust" is that you know it's the EXACT headline TIME would use if this ever happened.

". . . and in other news today, the president was arrested for murder."

This unkempt youngest might be onto something!

Or maybe not. Wikipedia doesn't seem to have any mention of it ever being on FOX : /

You may be right. I must be remembering the reruns, which seemed to go on forever.

This is another laugh-a-minute
episode—in addition to being an all-time classic:

It's true. That was my absolute favorite line from the pilot, along with Philip's, "They won't be socialists. This place doesn't turn out socialists!"

I have to admit, "Don't Believe the Truth" was a pretty great album. "Let There be Love" is on the short list of my twenty favorite songs.

Oh hey, Charlie is playing this song on the episode of LOST I'm currently watching. When I was living overseas, it seemed like someone was busking this song on every street corner in the UK.

Andy Serkis is also pretty great, during those two or three scenes where he appears on-screen.
