The great thing about "The Dark Knight Rises" is how perfectly it completes the trilogy. Everything comes full circle, down to the small fragments of dialogue ("Don't say 'Thank you'") that you haven't heard in two movies.

I loved the girl who played "young Jessica Biel." Such gorgeous curls.

I thought I had "The Prestige" figured out about halfway through the first viewing, but then I read in the AV Club's "end of the decade" films list that it has a twist so ingenious, most viewers don't even notice it. Can someone please clue me in on what I'm missing?

Why, they're all a bunch of blue-collar slobs!

Twaaalalalopadoooo!.. {crashes into various hard objects}

I know! The homily at mass this morning - for whatever reason - was about Buzz Aldrin, and I've been looking forward to this review ALL day! I even re-watched it on Friday, and have my notes ready to post : (

Alright, maybe my SECOND favorite movie ever made on a religious subject.

I'm looking forward to next week's reviews. "It's a Good Life" is a true classic - frightening and weirdly hilarious. It never gets old.

- "Vertigo." Every frame of that movie is perfect. It belongs in a museum.

Concur. I've watched maybe three random episodes of the first season of "Alias" and couldn't get into it. Is it worth skipping ahead to the second season?

YES. So… true!

everyone but Jesus!

That movie was so surreal. But the random peddlar of wares on the paddle boat (in the middle of Noah's flood!) was weirdness taken to a different level. It was transcendent.

I recently saw "Inherit the Wind" (twice), and it's probably my favorite movie ever made on an explicitly religious subject. But I'm also a Christian, so it's hard to find friends who appreciate it.

The "John Wilkes Booth" episode of "Unsolved Mysteries" reached "Twilight Zone"-levels of spookiness.

This and "The Bellero Shield" were both pretty fantastic. Coincidentally, they both featured Martin Landau.

Seriously. Skylar finds out Walt has cancer?

That's a solid twist. Very "Twilight Zone"-y.

By all accounts, that's how she got the part. Those earrings she wore in the movie? She actually made those. For a party.

I applaud Marah Eakin on his or her ability to sound just like Sean O'Neill
