It's great for short attention spans. I don't think any song goes beyond verse/chorus/completely falls apart.

Apply yourself and you could be a Dope Smoking Moron.

It'd be a nice companion to Where's Shane? - The MacGowan Live Experience.

Plus, if you act now, Tommy will piss on your floor and set fire to your kitchen!

You'll never get a God Damn Job that way.

I was bouncing around during their set like a rabbit on speed. I learned the next day that 40 year old knees aren't meant for that sort of youthful behavior.

Rain, wedding day, QED

"Shaun of the Dead: I Dunno, Working Retail?"

His performance as Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood was so good that i wasn't even annoyed that he won the Oscar over Samuel L. Jackson that year. Godspeed, Mr Landau, and say hello to Karloff, that limey cocksucker.

Aw man. This sucks. Thanks for literally changing the face of horror, Mr Romero.

Hired goons???

Who owns Kang? He started as an Avengers villain but there's the whole Rama Tut thing.

Meh. Who needed Willie Mays? They had Jimmy Piersall.

I knew the rumors wouldn't be true but i was really hoping they'd announce that Marvel got the Fantastic Four rights. Oh well. I guess an omnipotent space god is pretty good.

Steve McQueen is…..Zap Rowsdower!

I'm calling Max Keller. He's got an old guy with him and everything!

"Harlan Pepper, if you don't stop naming nuts!"

Well, first off, the show was billed as having 2 openers, neither of whom ended up playing so for a solid 3+ hours, people were just standing around getting progressively more drunk with no actual entertainment and the atmosphere got fairly ugly. A few fights broke out. Then, around 11:30, Shane and the band came

I saw Sleater-Kinney in 99 or so with the White Stripes opening. I got there a song or so into their set and, at first was like "Who the fuck is this dude in the sweatpants?" but got into it. That said, S-K utterly annihilated us during their set. Goddamn, they're great live.

I've seen Dylan a few times and have enjoyed all of them but he's someone I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Like you said, if you don't go in with expectations, it's a much better experience.
