Same with Barry Allen but Bucky was a solid 50 years of being dead. Pretty audacious to revive him after all that time and in such a way.
Bucky lasted longer than most. Though his comeback has actually been pretty good.
That may be the only feed I follow on Twitter that doesn't make me question what little faith I have left in humanity.
We had a Maltese that was the most lovable guy ever. But, Jesus, did he bark. At anything and everything.
And when they really wanted to harness the magic, they had him sing.
Just brace yourself for the James Hurley Traveling Roadshow. It's not good.
The colors they used for Scully's awful pantsuits haven't aged well. Plum was a frequent choice.
According to Guy Fieri, adding mild peppers to anything will get you on the bus to Flavor Town. I'm pretty sure that's the capital of Flavor Country, right?
Sad to see that James had to shave his head after Derek Zoolander stole his look.
I rewatched the original series recently and was struck by just how out of place it was in its original run. I could die happy. Well, actually, that ship has sailed. But that would be pretty cool.
How about Helium opening for Pavement there a couple years earlier? Another outstanding double bill.
Roger Miller of Mission of Burma was giving guitar lessons in Boston a while back. I thought about giving it a shot but the thought of embarrassing myself in front of one of my favorite musicians kept me from making the call.
I loved Helium and, living in the Boston area, I was lucky enough to see them a bunch. Their show with Sleater-Kinney at the Middle East Downstairs remains one of the highlights of my concert-going experience.
Are the New Pornographers opening for part of this tour or did I just imagine I read that?
As someone else mentioned, if he had done nothing more than create Swamp Thing, he'd have my eternal gratitude. But goddamn, he did more than that. So much more. Truly one of the all time greats. RIP.
I beat it once and was way prouder of myself than I should've been. I didn't get out much as a kid.
I was gonna say after reading this review "Didn't Wallace already write the definitive version of this?"
