That level in Ninja Gaiden with the goddamn birds.
That level in Ninja Gaiden with the goddamn birds.
"As I tie the apron around the president's waist, I can't resist and blurt out "I am not a cook!""
I'd flip Gimme Fiction and Kill the Moonlight but it's pretty amazing that an album like Series of Sneaks that would be a career highlight for most bands is (deservedly) that far down the list for Spoon.
I remember seeing Ethan Embry in that short-lived Dragnet reboot with Ed O'Neill and it was jarring how quickly he jumped from good looking teen movie guy to early-onset middle-aged dude.
Of course they left Time Chasers off. Bunch of Castleton snobs around here.
I think Master Ninja was the first episode I actually saw so it will always have a place in my heart. And, because of it, no matter how many great episodes of tv Tim Van Patten directs, he'll always just be "Hi, I'm Max Keller" to me.
"Watch out for snakes!"
It's like a Russ Meyer film if Russ Meyer had never seen a movie before.
"Pyoomaman"
"It's pronounced Poo-mah man!"
The Season 1 episodes just aren't very good. The riffing is pretty spotty and I just didn't like Josh Weinstein.
How about the one warning against the dangers of passing tractors and racing trains where the cop shows up to ruin everyone's day by ratting out the kid for driving without a license. Oh, and then the older brother is killed by a train.
Hired, part 2 is my favorite short but there are a lot of great ones.
"Zintar gets the most sales because he's a shape-shifter!"
It's called evil, kid.
I made it through Hamlet the one time. Never again.
He won an essay contest, you know?
Jack Frost is actually a pretty great-looking movie and, while it's batshit insane, the story at least makes sense. That said, the riffing is still excellent. "That mushroom guy is really starting to piss me off!"
Yuri, no!
As a MA resident, I look forward to the overly delayed licensing going through and hope that you get one of them.
That is pretty much a perfect record. So goddamn great.
Not a Wesley Willis fan but the inclusion of Rebel Jew and Flowers more than makes up for that.
