I'd say The Libertines is one of the much more obvious ones. Just listen for the one that's slurring his words.

I haven't been able to stop playing that Piss Test remix since it came out. El-P's verse especially is killer.

@thecolonelmc:disqus It's more seeing how people appropriate the sound and, as I said, seeing how it mixes with the genres that birthed it and that it shares common ground with. I'm already hearing songs that would be hard to classify as Trap/Rap/Dubstep but share DNA with all of those, and I'm interested to see where

You could say that about most genres in their infancy: "Punk is painfully one-note, The Clash are good because…"

Harlem Shake is a great track, I'd go as far as to say in the top 10 dance tracks from last year. Probably as good an example of trap as you're going to get outside of the TNGHT EP.

I think season 5 is looking like a real possibility. NBC will probably have to renew at least one of Whitney, Community and Go On, and of those Community has the most critical cache and probably the largest committed fanbase.

No, I'm expressing shock at how such a crappy, 3rd rate movie could have such a good cast.

That somehow also had Will Arnett, Tracy Morgan, Penelope Cruz, Steve Buscemi and Nic Cage.

I didn't think it was as terrible as others seem to, but it was just a repeat of the first one but not as good, like they took all the leftover jokes and moved them to Bangkok.

They speak so fast but they speak so true.

I've found that Friends is perfect comfort TV. It's not too taxing, I always laugh and it's perfect for binging on a few episodes at a time.

Anyone even mentioning the 2nd season makes me fall asleep.

Friends is pretty much the perfect non-Seinfeld hang out multi-cam sitcom. It's a textbook example of something great inspiring legions of shitty imitators.

1,2,3 and 4 are great, 5 and 6 are OK, 7 is pretty poor and then 8 is great again. Also I agree with others that without Scrubs there would be no Community and even 30 Rock would be slightly different.

According to imdb The Dark Knight it the 7th best film of all time… make what you want of that.

"Mordecai and Rigby, thanks…. FOR BEING THE COOLEST LOSERS WE KNOOOOOOOOOOOOW!"

I don't watch Girls (tried to get into it, really didn't like it), but I enjoy keeping up with the conversation surrounding it and was pretty surprised to see that a description of "fitfully good but kind of confused" translated to a B+.

@avclub-2586d0717b58d4f4383144ca1341d079:disqus Just being curious; from what you know/have seen, what do you think of episode 4 compared to the first 3?

@avclub-c701a997d9bef627835b036efb4eca63:disqus , there is a small part of me that would like to see QT try to be "serious", but then at the same time making distinctive, trashy, ridiculously entertaining films is what he's good at and he's even managed to incite some serious discussion with his latest. In fact I'd

I think @avclub-de9878e9d33c60263a094abc94fab3f0:disqus pretty obviously meant worst film that Affleck has directed.
