I tried to think of 5 of his movies without checking IMDB. I got as far as "Targets", "Last Picture Show", "Paper Moon" and "Something with Dorothy Stratten".
I couldn't think of any from the last decade, and sadly, even IMDB wasn't much help with that.

Bogdanovich=
Couldn't get Polanski.

Yes. Ed was really bringing the Bundy tonight.
Though as Gloria was going on about "her money", for the first time I realized how much she reminds me of Peggy.
Which is good.

I know, Todd. You weren't the problem there.
Also, you're absolutely right about the 75/25 ratio. I was surprised how good tonight's show was, though it did deliver it's share of groan-inducing moments.
My favourite was when Janis went to the pet shop to try to quit being a traitor, like she'd been selling Amway for a

Double Agent?
Sorry, but if you're a mole pretending to be a mole, that makes you a triple agent.

As far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to be in a shitty DTV movie with Tim Allen.

G-L-O-R-I-A
What this episode needed was a lot more Sofia Vergera.
But then, that's what I say about every episode… of every TV show.

This was a new one?
I popped in on this episode a few times last night, but I was convinced it was a re-run.
This is what I get for mainly experiencing the show through TV Club recaps.

2016?
Really? "Flashforward" is calling a 7-year story arc?

I'm too lazy to check the DVD, but wasn't the "faux jazz" taken from Sideways as well?
Also, hitting on the unattractive barmaid for fucked-up reasons. Sideways!

Big Night for Klaus
Klaus got a major part in the B-story AND revealed his secret telepathic communication with Haley.
In Klaus terms, that's practically a spin-off.

Best FBI Work of the Night
DIRECTOR WHATSISNAME: "Okay people. We have to get back to work. Let's try to find out what caused the global blackout. Mark, are you making any progress on finding Dyson Frost?"

On the fence but happy to have some company
Here's the thing. I'm a Star Trek guy from way back. My wife could never really get into Trek, but a couple of years ago, for some reason, she got into Stargate SG1.
I could never really get into SG1, but when this series came along, I figured this would be something we

Two more Victorian Novel/Monster Genre Mash-ups
"Frankenstein and Frankenstein"

I watched this on the DVR after watching "Community", and when I saw that scene I was kind of hoping Abed would teleport in from the other channel to show the Deputy Director how to do his job.
Come to think of it, the whole show would work much better if they introduced Danny Pudi as a mysterious character who seems

Actually, what I meant to say was: "For the most part, the characters were very badly used."

A Very Unpleasant BBT
I didn't like this episode at all.
The characters were mostly used very badly. They just skimmed their most superficial qualities. Raj tries to teach meditation (because he's Indian, RIGHT?). Leonard tries to play analyst and has a breakdown. Penny does a makeover but reveals herself to be a

Penny and Sheldon seem to have gone shopping at the same store as Urkel.

Seinfeld dares you
Jerry Seinfeld's career over the past few years appears to be a series of increasingly elaborate dares.
It's like he keeps taking meetings with executives eager to do business with him, and he just blurts out these moronic ideas to see if they'll go for it.

Yay Yay Yay.
