Or because it doesn't match up with a fucking bait and switch marketing campaign they were lured in by that was perpetrated by people that had nothing to do with actually making the movie.

Without the line about the vertebrae it would have been fine, he's injured but not incapacitated, but yeah they set themselves up for more questions with that one piece of dialog.

But his true motivation is to tear Gotham apart for decades of decay & corruption in all walks of life, to finish what Ra's al Ghul started, but in a torturous way that both mocks Bruce's ambition & gives the people of Gotham this fleeting hope of 'revolution'. His 'politics' to me were just tactical maneuvers.

To be fair, the whole trilogy is Bruce's arc, and his development (much of the credit going to Bale) is far from shit.

There's a ton of other stuff going on while Bruce is returning off screen, & if you're paying attention it's something like 23 days before the bomb's going to go off that he escapes from the prison & he arrives around 12 hours before it's set to explode. Well Indy was smart enough to let them harm themselves with it so he could get it out of the wrong hands in the end.

Notice that when Bruce escaped the prison there was something like 23 days left before the core went into meltdown, and he arrives around 12 hours before it's going to go off. It doesn't seem that hard to believe that he could get back in THREE WEEKS especially with his resourcefulness and history of bumming around

Nope, ambition and what the film evokes can go a lot further for me, TDK is tighter, but TDKR sets out to accomplish so much more & does for the most part (for similar reasons Gangs of New York is my favorite Scorsese movie, despite its imperfections). Strangely it makes what seemed annoyingly shoe-horned into TDK

Hahaha, well I did reference how hot the Bond girl is, so you got me there. But in all seriousness, something about the story (hopefully it's just the editing of the trailer) seems awkwardly forced to me.

I disagree, Brosnan was Bond when I was younger, but Craig usurped the role forever in my mind a few minutes into Casino Royale.

Bright Star, The Hour, Perfume, Layer Cake, he's seriously one of the most underrated actors out there.

Something about this trailer really dampened my excitement. But the Asian Bond girl is hot as hell & Whishaw has taken away my dread of them reintroducing Q.

I'm torn, it's already ridiculous that it was going to be a two parter, but if it can give a sense of the history and build-up to the reemergence of Sauron in Lord of the Rings that his trilogy was completely missing I might be OK with it.
