My take was that she really wanted to serve a motherly function (she had that picture of what I assume was her child that died or was sent away), but once Dick's health improved, she had nothing left to offer but the only thing she ever gets to provide, which is sex.
Well, I think we can agree that if there's one person who deserves to lecture us on the civility of public discourse, it's Tracy Morgan.
