Jason Bourne rarely got his ass kicked. He was like the Flash in those fight scenes. Entertaining, but completely unrealistic. I remember watching an interview with Matt Damon in one of the special features and he said (with a straight face) "I think audiences really connect with the Bourne character because he's

I hate that cliche where…
The car is outrunning the cops and they find themselves stuck in a parking lot, then instead of just driving out they proceed to burst through the wall and we're treated to a high-speed police chase through the mall……

Damn! So many of them.
I hate that whenever any character in a movie or show steps up to a microphone their ineptness is immediately broadcast in the most obvious way possible by ear-splitting feedback. Regardless of where the speakers are placed

I love this track, perfectly embodies everything Fela. I had a hard time deciding which Fela track to add to a recent 8 tracks music mix, and this one got the award. If you don't know this site now is the time to start

And I fuckin' love me some Fela!!

Putumayo has its place as a possible gateway into certain genres. I like their really specific ones (acoustic Brazil perhaps) but some of the themes really feel like they are reaching (Music from the Coffee Lands for instance)

big screen that is

I don't think he did…. but he did yell and hoot and holler like a little bitch. His career has plummeted ever since (karma?)

no it won't

Why just 10 best pictures? Why not 10 best actors, or 10 best directors, or 10 best cinematographers, or 10 best supporting actresses. Wait… strike that last one

And that was the second time I got crabs

I thought the sixth book in the series, Song Of Susannah was pretty weak. Then someone pointed out that it all takes place in one day and I realized it was just a percursor to the final chapter. Which was great, but I saw the circular ending coming a mile away.

Uh…. get away from your computer and go watch Unforgiven right now!
I mean in….. put the computer DOWN!

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Sondra Locke was sexually abused in SIX films that Eastwood directed (WTF?)

Kevin Kline !!!
Speaking of Fish Called Wanda, Kevin Kline followed up his career-best oscar-winning performance with The January Man. True story. Look it up

agreed, and that goes for any Perry Farell incarnation as well. His new band SUCKS ASS

Radiohead does nothing for me. However ever since the brilliant score from There Will Be Blood (here we go again) I've been thinking of forcing myself to listen some more.

I love old movies so the pace doesn't scare me away, Bogart/Cagney/ etc. Never got the appeal of Citizen Kane either. It's OK, but I can think of dozens of movies from the same era that are superior.

I'm on board with There Will Be Blood. Easily my favorite movie from the last five years, but 2001? I've watched it three or four times and it still doesn't "click" Incredibly boring and even the visuals that are good are on the screen far too long. The movie does pick up some steam (if you can call it that) with
